ADMISSION-GENERAL
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO FOUR YEARS
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES (FYUGP):-
a. The admission process will commence after the formal notification issued by the
University of Jammu
b. All those students who have passed Higher Secondary Part-II Examination (Class XII) of
the J& of School Education or any equivalent examination recognised by the University of Jammu and
Para-Military personal serving in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are also eligible for for
admission to B.A Semester-Ist under NEP 2020. The students of central govt. employees, Army
admission.
c. It is the responsibility of the candidate to follow the rules of admission procedure and
the instruction imparted, scrupulously.
d. The candidate has to remain present at the time of admission and get the certificates
alongwith original scrutinized by the relevant authorities. Candidate needs to submit photocopies of all
certificates an mentioned with the application form, original will be returned after due verification.
e. It is the responsibility of the candidate in every respect to see that the information
asked in the application form is filled properly and correctly. No information such as about merit,
reservation will be allowed to change, once the form is accepted.
All parents/studentsarerequired to sign the undertaking at the time of admission as attached with the
admission form.
f. The eligible students are advised to go through the prospectus before filling the
admission form.
g. A student who is admitted to the college and completes the minimum required attendance
but either fails or does not appear in ensuing University examination, will not be considered for admission
in the same class again.
h. Re-appear in the Higher Secondary Part-II examination will not be admitted.
